Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a spacious room with a magnificent sea view, but the narrow layout made it challenging to move beds. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to assist, and the location conveniently allowed us to explore the entire island. The dining options were satisfactory, providing a good start to the day. However, there were some repetitive aspects in the dining choices. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and excellent service.
The hotel's rooms have a reasonable size bathroom and a private balcony with great caldera views, but they need updating, especially in the bathrooms and furniture. The location is excellent for enjoying the caldera views and being central to Fira, but may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges due to the many stairs. The service is outstanding in helping with cars, tours, and luggage, although lacking a phone in the room can be inconvenient.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room had a wonderful view of Thera and the caldera but had some issues with the air conditioner and cleanliness. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond, yet the dining options were limited and the breakfast schedule was inconvenient. The location was great, offering easy access to shopping and restaurants in Fira, although noise from a nearby night club was a drawback.
The hotel has potential with room updates needed, but offers a balcony shared with the neighboring room for enjoying the view. The location is excellent for reaching all major spots on foot, and the views of the sunset over Thirasia are stunning. However, noise from local nightclubs can be a downside.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were cozy with nice paintings and a spacious layout. However, the sound of donkeys moving outside could be a bit bothersome for light sleepers. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff readily available to assist. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to attractions. The dining options were lacking in variety, but the overall experience was pleasant.
During my stay at the hotel, I found the location to be perfect, right in the center of Fira with amazing views of the town above and the caldera below. The service was exceptional, from the manager Jeremy to the bell boys who helped with our luggage down the many stairs. However, the dining experience was not that good, with limited breakfast options consisting of stale cereals. The rooms, though not exactly as presented in the pictures during Christmas week in 2014, were clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of Thera and the caldera from a spacious white room with tall ceilings and a big window opening to a terrace.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were not ideal as I could hear the donkeys passing by in the morning and at night, which disturbed my sleep during the Christmas week stay. On the bright side, the location was superb, allowing easy access to the entire island on foot and boasting beautiful sunset views. The service, however, was lacking as assistance was promised but delayed until the manager was available. The dining experience was satisfactory, providing necessary fuel for exploring the island's attractions.
The hotel offers stunning views of the volcano and water from its superior rooms on the cliff, but some aspects like the run-down condition and lack of wifi connectivity could be improved. The service was top-notch, with friendly and professional staff willing to go above and beyond. The location couldn't be better for experiencing the beauty of Fira Santorini, although it's near a busy night club. The dining options were satisfactory to fuel your adventures around the island. A mix of positives and negatives make for an interesting stay.
